Who we are
Clean Hour (“we”, “us”) operates the website cleanhour.studio and sells digital products through it. For any question about your personal data, you can reach us at hello@cleanhour.studio.
What data we collect
- Purchase data. When you buy a product, our payment provider collects your email and billing details and your payment information. We receive limited order information from them — typically your email address, the product purchased, and the amount.
- Correspondence. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to handle your request.
- Site usage. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. For each view it records the page URL and filtered query parameters, the referring site, your approximate location (country, region and city, derived from your IP address), your device type, operating system and browser, and a timestamp. It works without cookies: instead of storing anything on your device, visitors are counted using a hash derived from the request itself, which is automatically discarded after 24 hours. Vercel states that data points are not associated with any individual or IP address and that it does not build identifiers capable of tracking you across other websites. We see aggregate figures only — we cannot identify you from them, and we run no advertising trackers. See Vercel’s analytics privacy notice.
Cookies
The Site sets no cookies — none of our own, and none for analytics or advertising. Our analytics provider works without them, as described above. That is why you are not asked to accept anything: there is nothing to consent to. Should this ever change, we will ask for your consent first, as the law requires.
Payment processing
Payments are handled by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), our merchant of record, together with its payment processor Stripe. They process your payment and billing data under their own privacy terms. See Polar’s privacy policy.
Why we process your data and on what basis
- To perform our contract with you — deliver the product, send your receipt and download, and provide support.
- Legitimate interest — answering enquiries, keeping our Site secure, and measuring in aggregate how the Site is used so we can improve it. We rely on this basis for analytics because the measurement is cookie-free and does not identify you.
- Legal obligation — meeting tax and accounting requirements.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the business: Polar and Stripe (payments), our email provider (to contact you), and our hosting provider, Vercel (to serve the Site and to provide the aggregate analytics described above). We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep order and correspondence data for as long as needed to provide the product and support, and thereafter for the period required by tax and accounting law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@cleanhour.studio. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
